I am over 21 years of age.

Once upon a time, there was a girl who was a student and while stressing over sorting samples, identifying organisms and reading papers discovered the world of online fandom, first there was Robin of Sherwood then Lord of the Rings followed by Enterprise and Harry Potter. The girl became a shop assistant and discovered livejournal (where she discovered new worlds and friends) before returning to student life. For though the money is bad, she finds that the life of study suits her and she is happy.

I'm a marine biologist (though only a student at present), my specialty is benthic ecology (I get to play with mud and claim that it is a very important thing to do), though like many people I'd rather be somewhere warm studying whales or maybe sharks. Harry Potter and Enterprise are the two fandoms I have been most active in and still enjoy but I'm always willing to try new fandoms, including but not restricted to Pirates of the Caribbean, Stargate, CSI and Criminal Minds. As Oscar Wilde said "I can resist everything except temptation". So friends, tempt with tales of new and strange lands for I may find that I enjoy it there.

My journal is mainly RL ramblings and memes but occasionally stories, issues or fics that catch my attention.


My journal will often contain recommendations for stories of an adult nature. If you are underage or disturbed by stories of this nature, please do not enter.
